I just found something out yesterday. I was driving to Toronto and didn't have AC for about 45 mintues. Then all of a sudden on the highway I feel the compressor kick in and then cold air. It worked on the way home 5 hours later and then again today on a trip to Buffalo and back.
What would cause the compressor to just kick in like that after so long? I would says it's low on R134 but it's really cold when it kicks in which makes me think it's fully charged?
Bad compressor? I checked the drain line and condensation is coming out.
