from what I can see in the pics, the velvet does seem to match the seats rather well. It's still pretty difficult to tell though. I'd definitely love to see it in person to see how sexy it really is. I don't think I've ever seen a crushed velvet interior before.

Yea the pics arent the best, I think if some people saw it in person they might change there mind on how good it looks

If you are in a hot area I know for a fact that the spray glue will not hold forever... You might get a good 2 years out of it then you will have to take it off and spray again. None of my velvet is glued to a noticable surface that I put on - I don't like doing permanent interior mods because if I sell it the person who buys it will have no choice about keeping the velvet. --->Door Panels<--- *I took the door panels off first. *I tucked the velvet in the crack between the sections of the door with a CD and a flat head screwdriver. *Then I wrapped the velvet over the top and hot glued it on the back of the panel. *Then cut the hole out of the velvet on front doors where the defrost comes in. *More tucking with the screwdriver and rolling of the CD finished it off. *Put panels back on. ---> The rear Deck<--- *Took the deck off. *Hot glued on the back on one side. *Pulled the velvet across and hot glued the other side stretching it around the brake light. *Pulled the other 2 sides tight making sure all wrinkles were out and hot glued them to the back as well. *Put deck back in.
I can't explain how I wrapped my speaker box cuz it was a pain in the butt! But after I was finished doing all of this I realized I was the first to post this mod on CEG...!

Little insecure aren't we? Sorry to burst your bubble, but people have been putting crushed velvet (why, I'll never understand?) in cars long before you thought of it.
As a matter of fact, I've had the unfortunate experience of seeing a Contour with crushed velvet in the Detroit area about two years ago and even then I was wondering why

You have got to put blue neons on the inside. With Crushed velvet it will look bad ass. At least it did in my caddy.
