I used Intrax with stock struts. You can use your stock struts if they are still good but it could wear them out faster. Going with bistien(sp?) or something like that would be better IMO.

98 SE Sport. custom catback, Intrax springs, 3L, 3L valves, APEXi S-AFC, 24# injectors. Other cars: 72 Challenger 360 motor 727 trans (used for parts) 73 Challenger 340 motor 727 trans 15.60 1/4 with bad miss and clogged fuel filter.

Aftermarket struts will last a lot longer with lowering springs. Stock struts will mabye last a year.

Thanks for the help... one more question will it damage anything other then the struts if i use the stock struts

What would happen if you did blow a strut?

Would the car still be driveable, albeit horribly?

One of my stock struts had a big leak before I swapped them for my new suspension. It rode pretty good, considering. I didnt really know until I opened the hood one day. That strut ended up being totaly shot when we took it off. So it will still ride ok, but I wouldnt use a blown strut very long. It wont control that side of the suspension very well.

Driving on a bad strut can cause damage to other suspension parts... Tie-Rod Ends, Balljoints, Coil Springs, A-Arm Bushings, etc.

I would not suggest it.

or like me the car is sooo low that the struts cant do anything anymore the joys of a 3 inch drop
