In fact, I'm having some issues with the head unit i have now, and yanked off the door panels to check the Polk 5X7's I have in there now...a 6X8 would be a tight fit(at least in my 2000). no 5x7 and 6x8's are basically the same exact size speakers(overall)the actual entire assembelies are the same size...its just the actual speaker area that differs...so pretty much any 5x7 or 6x8 will fit your car..all the holes might not line up(but its simple to drill out new ones)
