I thought so!!! that's what I told a salesman in Circuit City!! He asked what I was looking for, and I said 6X8's. I would install them myself, so I wouldn't buy them there, but my girlfriend was looking at a new cell phone, so i was trying to kill some time. he asked what they were for, and I told him....he was like" 6X8's won't fit your application, the mounting holes in the dooor are too small. I thought he was wrong......Any ideas on really high-end speakers?? I would like something with at least 90Db's of sensitivity....

5x7s and 6x8s are pretty much the same thing...if you look at the box that the speakers come in it will say 5x7/6x8 or something along that line anyway. also at circut city look at the tag of the speakers that are on the wall. it should say also fits 6x8 or the otherway around
