You can get them at Cruchfield, or make your own. There are several web sites than tell you how to make them.

With the first website, you need to pick your crossover frequency and your impedence (obviously it's 4 ohms). Then look down to where it says "1st Order (6dB per Octave)." Once you click on the "compute" button, it will display what values would be needed in inductors and capacitors. Since you are doing a high-pass first-order crossover, you would only need one capacitor per speaker.

For example, if you wanted a crossover point of 80hz, you would need a capacitor that had a value of or close to 4973.738659875855 microfarads. You would hook it up like so:

The rest of the information that you need to know can be found in that second link...

Some great door speakers, especially for the money, are Infinity 5752CF's. They're 5X7's but come with 6X8 spacers. Can get them through Crutchfield right now for $65 shipped. Sound as good as most component speakers I've run for about one third the price.

crutchfield usually has higher prices than can be found elsewhere. i wouldn't be suprised if you could find those infinitys for atleast $5 cheaper.

Interesting......I didn't realize our 'Tours used 6X8's I thought they could hold 5X7's only. In fact, I'm having some issues with the head unit i have now, and yanked off the door panels to check the Polk 5X7's I have in there now...a 6X8 would be a tight fit(at least in my 2000). Was there a difference in speaker sizes between model years or something??

no 5x7 and 6x8's are basically the same exact size speakers(overall)the actual entire assembelies are the same size...its just the actual speaker area that differs...so pretty much any 5x7 or 6x8 will fit your car..all the holes might not line up(but its simple to drill out new ones)
