First, the reason why black colleges were established was because at the time they were established many blacks weren't being accepted into the colleges (white colleges) in there area. Now that it's no longer as much of an issue as it was back then a lot of those schools are still around. Now they're referred to as Historically Black colleges and not just Black colleges.

The reason why you don't see any schools labeled as White Colleges is because the majority of colleges in this country are majority white. In addition there are more all white colleges (either by design or chance) than there are black colleges. No need to label them as such.

Race doesn't = racism. Racism = Discrimination or prejudice based on race. Get rid of discrimination and prejudice and there is no more racism. To an extent there will always be people who hate each other regardless of color. I believe through education and effort we can decrease if not eliminate racism and hate based on skin color alone.

What's sad is that some people will still cling to stereotypes.
