FWIW the t/stats are now the wax type,not the old bellows type,wedging a wax type open can damage it...another 2 cents!!!

To change the whole assy its only 3 bolts,3 hose clops and drain the coolant!!!!! sounds like a diy to me...

yeah my only problem is i need my car for work 6 days a week , and i dont have the resource to do it, i dont even change my own oil anymore :p
