Magnesium is a great ligth weight metal....but extremly volital at high heat. I wouldn't want this on my car. In my opinion of course.
I Read about some guy in road and track that built an all Magnesium race car and DID NOT put seat belts...he would rather be thrown from the car, then die in a raging fire because of how fast Magnesium burns...givin this is only a transmission, but just how close is it to you tank and fuel lines....I know thinking about it is bad...but its a reality when people use this metal.
