I got my Contour a few months ago from CarMax. They put very tasteful stickers on the back of the car, whereas most dealers stick those horrendous plastic things.
I really didn't mind the sticker. I thought it looked tasteful enough and I was satisfied enough with their service to do a bit of free advertising for them.
But, now that I'd like to modify the car a bit, and make it unique and mine, the sticker(s) they stick on the back are kind of annoying me.
Anyone have any idea how I could easily and safely remove them without leaving traces. I wish I had a picture of the stickers. It's one logo made up of several small stickers. They have virtually no relief to them at all. Look almost painted on.

Try a heat gun or a hair dryer, and pick at it with you finger nails, usually they will come off.

Try some of the "goo gone" type products that are out there. I got a tiny bottle of stuff and I was really really suprised how good it works. Just do a small section at a time starting from an edge or a corner and work back.

Removing the Carmax sticker was the first thing I did when I got my SVT. I just peeled it right off before I washed and waxed my new baby.
