Whatever you do, do NOT drive or run the car in this condition anymore!!! A flashing CEL means a serious problem, misfire, which is confirmed by your code 300 "random misfire detected." That burnt smell could be a lot of important crap destroying itself. Check all plugs for tightness, and all wires for a secure connection on both ends. I dont know how much dammage you might have already done, but if you didnt tear up too much important crap (ie. piston rings, etc..) re-seating the wires and plugs should fix the problem. -Nick
