Do you know when/if they were replaced last? I am planning to change the plug wires though. I changed the plugs back at 60,000. I was disappointed there were no Bosch +4 platinum for the Zetec. I put in Motorcraft double platinum instead. I'm thinking about ordering the 9mm wires from BAT, but can't decide between blue, red, or yellow - Jim '96 Mystique GS, Ztech - ATX, with CD changer, Sylvania Cool Blues, sunroof, keyless entry, and 9mm blue wires

It was actually found to be the air temp sending unit. Seems that the unit only recalled the last reading it read. So if the car was turned off after running in hot weather and then turned over on a cool morning stumbles and stalls was the result. Not sure if it would apply but never hurts to mention. hunter green 96 mystique mtx, sabb side markers deep tints car bra., K & N filter, hyper white low beams, after market fogs, JVC Kameleon head unit, 600 watt amp with 2 10" kicker subs, soon to come new rims New adition 01/11/2002 The original 95SE in Midnight Red all the toys including traction control Fog light mod, lightmoonroof switch from a focus, power antena (still wiring it up) post 98 sail panels, new water pump , Bosch quad plaitnum plugs, and a new Cat.
