Do you notice the problem mainly when it's humid/raining out? If so it could also be bad ignition wires. Do you know when/if they were replaced last? My dad has been through that a few times on his F-150, especially when using aftermarket wires.
Doesn't matter what the weather is. I am planning to change the plug wires though. I changed the plugs back at 60,000. I was disappointed there were no Bosch +4 platinum for the Zetec. I put in Motorcraft double platinum instead. I'm thinking about ordering the 9mm wires from BAT, but can't decide between blue, red, or yellow
