I agree with this guy. Biggie, Talib Kweli, and Dialated Peoples are some of the best. I don't neccessarily agree with Jay-Z, mostly because Nas is the king of NY.
In addition to Nas, try Busta Rhymes, Mos Def, 50 Cent, Naughty by Nature (good ol skool summer rap), Snoop and Dr. Dre, Xzibit, Fugees, Beatnuts, Bone Thugs, Rakim, Pharoah Monch, De la Soul, Method Man, Qtip (or all of Tribe Called Quest), Outkast, and maybe even some Eminem.
