ah my knowledge on this board finally has a chance to shine

uhh either utilityboardsupply or activemailorder is the place to buy completes from, maybe even jaysboardshop (search google yahoo for all 3). now since he is a begginner. the best thing to do would be to buy a blank from say utility board supply (ubs) they have their own blanks which are around 25-30 and i think they might also be on sale. also you can make your own "custom" complete so you can browse around and select what you would like to buy. trucks arent that big of a deal if you are begginer or not, they come in two sizes really hi's and lo's, when he gets more into it say in a year or so then the choice is his really depends on what he likes but this early it doesnt matter, go with the cheapest trucks, probably venture (size 5.0, thats how long they are from each end of the axles). wheels arent a big deal, dont get them TOO big, or TOO small, perfect size really is around 52-53. bearings ehh not that big of a deal i would go with whatever ones they give you for free, probably quickies, not bad and it gets the job done. griptape - jessup. uhm...risers dont get any, it doesnt do anything at all. hardware, doesnt honestly matter go with shorty's. if you need any mor ehelp reply here or pm me. i am a very experienced skateboarder and have been skating for almost 4 years. also tell your brother to visit our web site,
