wow....first nike only came into skateboarding because they saw profit to be made. es dc yuck? no...dc makes one of the best skate shoes out there mad comfy, lakai is a very good comfy shoe also. es i heard is going out of business...rumors i dunno. im very into the skate scene i know...some people who are coming up in ranks in the skate scene. but nike is ruining skateboarding, buying out hurley...they are going to suck all the profits out of skateboarding and at the end it will show who the real skaters are and who the wannabes were. its too mainstream right now i did a report on this, i can debate this for a very long time. competitions? the majority of GOOD pro's dont do televised competions like the Xgames and the Gravity games. the majority of them compete in the vans triple crown and the overseas comp's.
skateboarding is not a sport, so dont do it ~ consolidated skateboards
