so ive been looking for a red/ tan SVT.
went to a dealer in the bay area that had one.
was gonna trade my Green.
basicaly, their price was $10999. 2000 SVT wid 66k miles.
good cond (i noticed exhaust manifold is rusted out tho)

that a good price?

i coulda gone home wid it, but i didnt like the numbers they gave me.

4 years @366+-
or 3 years at $425+-

at that point isnt it better to get a new car?

Was the price $10,999 after your trade?

Is your car paid off? Mileage?

66K miles isn't bad, but I wouldn't pay $11K after a trade.

Better to buy a new car?
well prolly not as new cars depreciate faster than used cars. But, you may want to pay 14K for a 2000 SVT w/ 30K miles and the factory warranty still in effect. I'm sure there can be some low mileage SVT's still around for $14K or less that are still covered by the factory warranty for a few months after you buy the car. You may need to get outta the bay area to find one cheaper and at the price point you want.

There is a sweet 99 Red/tan on Ebay with 17K miles right now, resale in the midwest is horrible. And yes, you need a cross country drive!

yeah, got a small balance on my car. its all mine by the end of this year tho.
i think i'll keep it.
the red svt was $10999, 2000 wid 66k miles.
i gues it wasnt bad, but if id finance a car for 3-4 years, id rahter a lower mileage one. or maybe a new car instead.
anyways...
and yeah, i dont mind a road trip if the car was worth it.
2000 miles tops tho.

Man, I've been trying to sell my red 2000 SVT (34k miles) for about three months now. Not many buyers up here in Sacramento. It's even under warranty too, until tomorrow.

Well, I posted it in the classifieds for $11,700 OBO. Definitely negotiable.

Give me a call if you're interested. 916-837-2949. I live in Davis, work in Folsom (carpool almost every day now, and don't need a 2nd car).
