I think you can summarize it to him by just saying "you're an idiot and the entire CEG agrees".
Mine's lightly modded and hasn't blown up. In fact, I'm at 110k miles and have great power considering the small amount of mods done. SleeperZ tosses N2O into his Zetec and it hasn't blown up. In fact, I think I can count on one hand the number of Zetecs I've read about blowing up on this board - not a lot.
Civics have great potential because of a huge aftermarket. Much of it caters to the ricer-mentality your friend has, and that's fine w/ me. He adds wings & vinyl...I dyno-tune. Which do you think
really makes a difference.
Even better - have your dumb friend register on the board and post here telling us why we shouldn't be modding our Zetecs that actually have balanced TQ and HP figures. Sorry my car doesn't make all of its useful HP in the last 300 rpm.
