i have a 99 svt and that piece of junk doesn't fit over the maf. also tried installing just the maf adapter and the k&n filter. absolute no performance gain, in fact the car ran a bit slower and seem to waste more gas. that guy on ebay advertises it is a specifically for the contour svt. he is a big fat liar, even the picture they show is on a cougar not an svt. i emailed him back to ask for the proper 2.5" to 3" coupling to connect the intake pipe to the maf. he said they sent me all the right parts and i didn't install it properly. it's not rocket science it told him. he also doesn't do returns. but it might work for non svt( not what his ad says though). any body with a non svt interested in getting one i'll sell mine for $50 + s&h, just pm me.

That picture is for the non-svt,,look at the sensor placements,,there are only 3 on the intake pipe,,the svt intake pipe has 4 ports.
You want $50 bucks for yous,,i'll take it if my intake guy doesnt get mine done soon. I'll PM you on monday if he cant do my intake the way we are planing

As far as intake goes.. an open filter is going to be better than the stock airbox.. you didn't buy a "piece of [censored]"

Well Harley,,if you look at the picture , you will see that that is the metal intake pipe,, this would replae the rubber one,,i dont have the metal one,,only person that i have seen with it around us is Nick. That piece alone from BAT sells for like $75 the last time i checked and the same from some guy in Canada and he wanted like 15 bucks for shipping

I bought one from the same guy that is sellin the RVM on ebay several months back and it had the 4 outlets (for SVT) and it had the right rubber connectors as well for SVT's. This one was not made by RVM, and had a different K& N filter.

i ordered this not to long ago off of ebay I think his user name was DOHCcivic1234 or sumthing and they sent me a pulley for a 95 civic lol, so i sent it back and got a refund. These guys also make a short shifter for our car, shifter is 100 bucks and the intake is 94!!
