Ok--here's my take on the subject... The FSVT is obviously not targeted at the same people that buy the Cobra or Lightning (V8 american muscle) yet the SVT fans are the ones that know about it. Ford/SVT know that many car "enthusiasts" are, for lack of a better term, narrow minded (i.e. someone that hates Hondas just because they are Hondas, or a Ford fan hating Chevy's for no reason...). They are aiming this car at import tuners. Primarily they only look at imports, even though this car is targeted at that niche. These people wouldn't look at Fords products enough to discover the FSVT, so if Ford advertises it, they get their word across, and these cars wont sit on lots and sell for $15K like they have been.
