It is about making money. As Rara states, it adds polish to the whole company.

We are not talking about huge direct profits off of SVTs. Its about advertising the best product you have in that particular model and hoping, if nothing else, that people will be more interested in the model.

Its not about selling FSVTs, only 4788 were made in 2002. Its about giving people a more positive feeling about the Focus (and Ford in general) and maybe, just maybe they might buy an SVT or one of the many other Focus configurations.


By the way, has anyone happened to see the Dodge PVO commercial with ALL THREE of their products in the SAME commmercial? Damn you PVO!!!! Your now dooomed!
