Well, I guess I would exclude car-oriented magazines because they are targeting the enthusiast crowd (the people who would typically buy a special edition car). TV to me is the most mainstream consumer advertising.
I also have to admit that I only pay attention to commercials that are truly funny and make me laugh. Most TV advertising makes me feel like these companies are insulting a person's intelligence, so for the most part I flush out crap like that to make way for my schoolwork
