So I get the dreaded phone call from the dealer. My handler tells me that a preliminary estimate if it's the clutch is $1595. That's the whole clutch assembly. They haven't really torn it apart yet.
But the guy did say that the mechanic that is taking care of my car mentioned it was the cleanest SVT he's ever seen
That won't pay my bill but maybe it'll be a psycological thing and he wear white gloves when he works on it.
So...she's gone for at least two days. Timing is perfect, I take my wife and motherinlaw to airport tomorrow. They'll be out of town almost a week and I'll drive her SE to and fro. I'll betcha' she'll tell me not to tear it up too!
