Took it into Mr. Transmission - the guy is saying that the TCC is gone. Based upon our conversations, I'd have to agree that he is right. Also, on the weekend I started losing ATX fluid, and had the O/D light flashing. Apparently, it is also showing a trans overheating code, but he didn't have the number. Clearly there is something wrong with the TCC, and it needs replacing. But get this, the mechanic is telling me that there is an upgrade to the kit available that prevents TCC problems from occuring, and that there is a better back plate available...whaaaaat? Is there any truth to this? Should I shell out?
