They didn't give me a price when I called, but it was average last I checked. I might be able to get them sooner, the guy who was on the phone wasn't the sharpest pencil at the store. I'll check tomorrow to see for sure.
If I can get them faster through your source, let me know for sure!!

NAPA ended up being the right source after all, and I should have them wednesday. Thanks for the offer Dave, I was starting to get at what a PITA it was turning out to be! I got my rod bolts today @ $2.66 a piece. I'm messuring these up for ARP replacment when I start on my swap...if I don't get aftermarket rods, screw paying that much for stock bolts! While at the stealership I was talking to the parts guy who was interested in buying a blown SVT they had on hand. After tales of wild 3L's, turbo's and super charger's and a little web site name dropping, he seemed primed to follow through I also ran into that stock black SVT owner again and gave him the correct web site this time (I said CEG.ORG B4 ). 2 more SVT owners in the SW-CEG?? Maybe......

Well I just came in for some food, but so far the 4 rear cylinders rod bearings have come out. Starting with the rear most rod (closest to the trans)and the following 2 rods have all had bad bearings. But the 4th one was still good. I have to crank over the engine to take out the last two, but I bet they are still good too. Of course I'm replacing them all even if they are good, it's just strange.

not really, my front bearing was the worst, and it got better on the way back to the trans, so it was kind of progresive i think. did you check the crank? run a razor across it, side to side, as not to scratch it, but to see if there are any noticable grooves. if there are mild sratches on the crank, some 400 grit sand paper or finer can smooth them out, just make sure you sand it in the direction of the scratches, and not to go side to side, this can make the situation worse. this only works if the scratches on the crank are MINOR! just to smooth them out.

My guess is oil starvation time after time until they started to go bad on my car. I cleaned up the bearings I've got so far and they steadily get better as you move from back to front.
My crank is still in very good shape and I've done the test with my finger nail so far and everything has checked out. I will take a razor out with me to double check. Thanks again Dave!
