Lesson number two was that you never, ever, ever let a dealership know that you have a chip in your vehicle because many of them will try and void the warranty. Lesson number three was that if you choose to modify the vehicle, then either find a friendly dealer or be prepared to litigate warranty issues (and even then, you will still have to pay the upfront expense and hope for recovery after going to court).
As they say, you gotta pay to play...doesn't matter if it is a small car like a Contique or a behemoth like the PSD (which admittedly can be fun considering it really does not take a whole lot to get them running 1/4mile strip times that are VERY reasonable).
