I´m haveing this old 1996 mk Mondeo with 2.5L Duratec (not ST200) so does Vortech supercharger work with this engine?
And is there need to lower compression ratio?

It should physically bolt up, and you probably have a return system so you are good in that respect. Only problem I see is the computer, getting a chip for it to control the timing. I think someone here has installed one on a pre '98 contour, you may want to post this in the Forced Induction forum and he may be able to help you.

The '96 is OBD-II, at least here in the states, which would require nothing special to fit the SC or to tune the chip. It should be as simple as any other Contour SC installation.

Not sure about your car having an OBD-II computer in Europe.

As far as the Compression ratio, you should be fine. Seeing as you have the regular duratec, it is lower than the SVT version, and people havn't had any problems with the SVT's 10:1 compression.

Good luck, I would think it would be pretty rare to find a vortech over in europe, especially on a Mondeo
