The lash adjuster/ Finger follower sounds bad. If that is the problem will it cause damage to any of the components on the top end? I have a 3L on the way and want to use 3L valves should I just replace all the parts on the heads with new stuff or do I need to just have it adjusted?

98 SE Sport resonators removed, cone filter, custom catback, Intrax springs, Comp Euro T/A. 3.0L here waiting to go in. Just bent ALL the intake valves.
