Got a 2000 SVT. When the car is wet my car makes a creaking sound. It sounds like it is underneath the front of the car. Only happens when wet. There doesn't seem to be a specific thing that makes the noise. I pull up to a stop sign it creaks. I take a turn it creaks. After a few minutes it seems to go away.

Anything to worry about. I'm still under warranty so if it is I would like to take care of it now.

My 94 Mustang did the same thing. Siliconed all the front end bushings and it went away, but I don't know if yours is the same. Easy to try though.

I also think it sounds like some sort of bushing. Lubricate the sway bar bushings or any other bushings you can find. My car creaks when it is below 50 degrees outside. It is real bad when very cold. Sounds like the bed I had in my dorm room. laugh
