So I'm leavin work at 6:00 (working OT this week so I can afford the down payment) to bring the car up to the dealership to get my problems taken care of by "Emilio." Haha. The only problem is that I don't want to give up the car - I just got it man! I think I'm already addicted to SVT.
By the way, anyone know where I can pick up a cheap wire harness for me CD deck? And also where I can find the factory amp bypass cheaper than $50? I've got crazy sound I want to dump in my trunk, but I'm on a huge budget now. Are those 6x9's I got in my doors?

6x8's in the doors. Amp bypass harness can be found here.
6x9's can fit with a little modification. 5x7's also fit in there.

well! it's exciting to have another member on-board! good luck with the car. any questions you hve about it can usually be answered with a quick search trough the forums or looking at the How-To's posted on the main web site.
enjoy the car! you'll have to come out to a couple meets. and when you get things straightened out with 128, you'll probably have beter luck with service at the big Ford dealer in Foxboro.

If any of you care to know or are in a bind, Framingham Ford's service and parts departments are both open until midnight during the week, and I think they have good Sat & Sun hours. Haven't gotten to experience their service first hand yet (I guess thats a good thing) but if anyone has, please chime in.
Oh, yeah, and they are also a certified SVT dealer. I think they just give that name out now. I know Saleen dealers are few and far between.

I have had alot of work done by area ford dealers and I have to say the best Ford dealer, SVT or not is Lamoureux Ford in E. Brookfield. Their service is excellent! Nothing but praise for the work they do! I have alot of friends that have gone ther and have ALL had good experiances.
Good service from Autofair in Manchester, though I have heard that they have not done well for others.
I have had minor problems with Harr Ford (ordering the wrong parts and they are expensive), Drum Hill Ford (didn't know a SVT contour SVT existed, then ordered the wrong parts), Framingham Ford (brake work was terrible, and I cought the service manager driving around the parking lot in my Probe GT with all of my emergency strobe lights on). Although I have never had any service at 128 Ford or Fall River Ford, both dealers treat me like I am ignorant everytime I step thru the door.
Currently having problems with Sunnyside Ford. Alternator replacement went well. But they bent the suspension with the jack Friday, they ordered the wrong parts....still in the loaner Focus.
Major problems with Millbury Ford - I will NEVER subject any car I own to their punishment again!
As for SVT dealers...Fall River Ford, Rodman (Foxboro), Framingham Ford and I thought 128 was. What about Muzi Ford.
Saleen Dealer...Rodman
Roush Dealer...Sarat?

I have always said 'Tasca Ford' is just an overall amazing place to get work done there. I have had a LOT of work done there as I know a few people in the service department and they have ALWAYS taken care of me...perhaps its becuase I know these people, but in any event, great work there on both my SE and SVT I will try.....to never switch dealerships as long as I have a Ford ....plain and simple.

seems to hold, the dealer we go to for parts knows my father by name. they always give us discounts on parts.
but then again we are buying parts for five different Fords, so we are not always in for the same car
