No Pictures but I got it installed . Truely a short throw, not just a short shifter that's hard too reach. Felt like an M3 on first use.

The steeda is actually a short-throw.. the shifts are shorter... whereas the B&M is just a shorter shaft... if I wanted a smaller shifter I would just cut mine.

Kevdogg,
I can help you on the install.
I know you are in the neighborhood, like 3 blocks away I think, just send me and e-mail when you are ready.
Two tricky parts are 10mm spacer and Ford's fancy cotter pin and spring.
I broke my pin and will need get a new one.
My spacer was made with a spare piece of 3/8" thick plexiglass and a jig saw. A friend of mine made the spacer plate. It's the same size as the bottom of the shifter stand with holes for the isolators and the shifter.
The trans access plate with seal is mounted to the bottom of the spacer plate and seals the hole in the floor. The isolators are mounted to the spacer plate. Remount the shifter stand and exhaust shield.
Stick in the new shifter and click on the cables and you are done.
I would say we took about an hour but this also includes redoing my custom audio install in the center console. We also did it in my friends shop which has every tool you need including air compressor at an arms reach.

hey man don't worry about reconnecting that large spring...as it is useless...it is not necessary at all...its function is to help push the shifter towards neutral(which is bad for quick shifting)...just leave it out,it will work much better....most people that install an aftermarket shifter just leave it out....

I used the black plastic peice as my raiserplate, only it was a little too tall and it caught on the tower in the even gears so I had to dremel it out a little, shifts nice now. only problems is I think I need a bit more grease on it, it kinda catches sometimes, but I love it. Now I'm just waiting on my brushed aluminum shiftknob to get here to match the sexy aluminum reverse lockout collar. (dont have reverse lockout hooked up, just left it on cause it looks cool lol)

really???i used that piece also, and i didn't have any clearance problems....but i am glad to see that others are also doing this mod...it makes you feel like you accomplished something, because it wasn't just a simple bolt in....
