Hi everybody, I own a 1995 gl with atx. Anyway this car has 143k and it seems to run very sluggish and very slow!! My mods were magnaflow muffler, cta intake, both intake and exhaust resonators removed, and a high flow catalytic converter. It's horrible because even after all these mods the car seems to have horrible acceleration and EVERY rice easily whips it. My question is, is this car a pos(in which case im selling) or is there something wrong with it? My repairs include all mounts replaced, o2 sensor replaced, all new filters, new coil pack-plugs-and wires, speed sensor, thermostat, and pcv valve. I have no cel but the engine idles very low and sometimes stalls when changing gear. Possible culprit egr valve?

Has this sluggishness just started or have you been dealing with it for a while, both before and after mods? With the exception of VSS all items replaced seem routine considering your mileage. Don't think EGR would be problem when no CEL.

Its always been slow, lol. sometimes if im driving and i go back and forth between flooring it and 2/3 depression of the peddle ther is no surge or difference in acceleration. The car is loud as hell and sounds nice in low rpms but it seems like i get no added torque. What is vss by the way?

Damn its embarassing going down the interstate through Nashville having to keep the RPM's up around 4500 to 5000 just to be able to keep up with them.

Yeah... im really disapointed. The 4 cylinder on this car is much worse then that of civics, eclipses, etc. Ill just try to get the most money out of it

Neons? Mine is stock and those are easy. Well, the old body style. BTW, I only do this at the track.
