Water pump I'm installing in my '97 came in box with brand name Tredex (part # NP1576). It's a new pump (only, not housing) with date code Jan 18/02 on box and pump itself is stamped "GMB Japan" on pulley, casting and shaft.
I understand from my local automotive suppler that Tredex is located in Quebec but the pump had to be shipped from US warehouse(arrived overnight). I had specified metal impeller.
In the past week I have now held pumps with impellers that are black (my original shattered one), tan and white (reman by Fenco) and the Holy Grail ....metal (new by Tredex).
