The Ford service manual recommends EGR valve cleaner and to follow manufacturer's instructions (I presume that means cleaner rather than EGR mfr).
I doubt it due to diaphram, but see above.
I don't believe so, you'll see yourself it's one of those crimped together things not intended to be disassembled and reused.
