Ok last night I was the lucky recipient of 4 brand new koni struts. Of course theses are going on my GC setup. Anyhow I didn't try them all, but I did try 2 of them and I though the adjustment knob would have clicks on it, but it doesn't. It just turns until it stops. 2 1/4 turns in all is what the knob does from end to end, is this normal?
Anyhow that's not really my problem, my problem is I KNOW the rears are a pain in the ass, and you can somehow modify the knob to make it work. 1) what exactly do you modify on said knob (pics are worth a 1000 words). 2) what would be a good initial setting, for the rears. The fronts I can play aroudn with, but i'm very curious about what others with GC are setting the rear ones to.
For thoses who care the rest of the suspension setup is, Aussie 24mm rear sway bar, Rear STB, Front STB, All bushings are Polyurethane, and of course the GC coil overs.

PuckPuck:
Konis do not click, they just turn. 2 1/4 turns from one end to the other sounds about right.
1) My knobs fit in the rear with no problem. IF yours do not, you can shave down the top of the knob to make it thinner.
2) I have my Konis at the softest setting in teh rear and 1/2 turn in the front. I fooled around with going harder and I feel it's just too rough with 18s. I think the BAT sway bar and HPP rear stb work well enough to "compensate".
IIRC thepakrat has his GC-Koni set to 1/2-way between hardest and softest.

If you read the little piece of paper that comes with your konis (small and easy to lose), it says there is one full turn from softest to firmest (Atleast thats what mine said). Even though you may be able to turn the adjuster past the 1 full turn mark to make it firmer like I can too, persoanlly I wouldn't recommend doing that as who knows what it could do to the internal valving and seals if you hit a large bump.

i keep them full hard on all four corners all the time. I, of course, have springs, so the ride isn't that harsh at all, and it's a good match. The HPP rear strut helps a lot, I need an Aussie bar, just don't know where to acquire one from. . .if you have Eibach's or any other lower spring, I would put it midway, otherwise your car will fall apart and you'll get a headache from the stiffness. . .yes, I said stiffness.

I already have. And I did that the first time round. The issue now is that my company won't let me distribute. They said I have to tee up a distributor to do that.

from what I understand stazzi, the real issue is getting the funds upfront to do a run of say 20 bars at a time... getting a distributor shouldn't be that hard, there are quite a few places that i'm sure would take you up such as BAT, duratecperformance.com, SPMotorsports, CTAMotosports, etc.....
or am i completely wrong on that statement?

sorry stazi- This is a weid situation. COuldn't you do what was done with the HPP strut and have Factory Wings through Street Flight manufacture them or do them for you, while you retain patent rights and hence get x% of said profit? I'm sure MORE than 20 people would get in on this, the HPP struts brace went for like $90 shipped with the GB. I won't [censored] about not having your greatest invention for our cars. Your company needs to chill about the distributor end of the deal, because any of the companies we all deal with would distribute them. I'm probably treading into territory I'm not familiar with so. . .
