Has anybody heard of the weather affecting the way a zetec runs?.......Mine runs like a champ until it gets about 80 degrees outside , & then it just feels sluggish...if so , what can be done to help it out?

Well the Zetec is temp sensitive. Running at the track it was at least 3 tenths difference when the car was cool and when it was running at normal temp.

odd didn't seem to make too much of a differance to my car... ran a 16.8 in 50F weather and a 16.8 in 880-90F weather.

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

Guess the crappy ATX is temp sensitive which is probably the case.

might be... however my engine temps do rise quicker sitting in the staging lanes when it's hot and that effects my times... which is why when it was hot out side of my miss shift against mike my times where up and down all day from 16.8-17.2
