From the above posts it seems time for DIY types to replace are getting shorter. I read another post on another thread that said 6 hours and that sounds more my current speed, not counting interruptions that DIY types in the driveway experience. In fairness I understand complexity/accessibility varies between models and atx vs mtx. Some models require stone shield to be removed to drain rad. Some no doubt speed task by solely dumping coolant when wp removed. I'm in middle of replacement; old out of housing, but stopped work last night unable to get pump (minus tensioner and impeller) out of car due to hoses blocking escape route.
