Glad you didn't hurt anything or run over a family of nuns or whatever, but everytime I pass a guy in the ditch, I usually say something like "idiot" or "what an idiot" or "what a @#$ moron" There aren't many times when the ditch becomes the car's intended path, it takes either horrible conditions, bad luck, or some nice bad driving to get there. I have been in the ditch a few times. Most of them were intentional. Avoiding a hay bale falling out of a truck on a 1 lane gravel road once, and avoiding being sideswiped the other time. Others, such as the time I lost my left side tires and wheels to a huge piece of concrete on the freeway, were pretty much completely unavoidable. It was still my own fault though, I was following the truck ahead of me too closely and could not correct my path in time to avoid the concrete that popped out between his tires. I followed his path expecting to see something pop out beside his truck. If I had been driving a safe distance behind him, I would have avoided the concrete. I can remember exactly what happened though and can tell you exactly what the car did, and why it did it. You don't seem to know why you went into the ditch, which is why you did at such low speeds. Not trying to bash you really, I just think you may want to brush up on your defensive driving. Always have the wheel firmly in your hands, both of them, and don't follow so closely. After driving now for 9 years, I have noticed I have developped some bad habits like steering with my knees on the highway, changing lanes without checking first, watching scenery and generally not paying much attention, stuff like that. Once in awhile we all need to slap ourselves and drive like we are trying to get our licenses again The End.

im sure you may have been going a little faster than 15-20...but [censored] tires or [censored] roads combined with rain makes it easy to lose control...especially when slamming on your brakes...my car jerks to the side too when i slam hard on the brakes...so combined with rain i can see how that could happen. unless you were really going 15-20...then i can't defend you there atleast nothing got hurt

I admit that it was my fault, but I still am not sure why my car pulled to the right like it did!
And yes I was only going 15-20mph b/c it was a freakin' school zone!
My intent in this post was to show how my brand new wheels were covered in mud. I posted pics yesterday of them and now they are all dirty.
I wasn't trying to get a driving lesson or a lecture.
It was a misjudgement on my part and I admit that. I'm just glad that no one was hurt and that someone up above was watching over me.
The End.

Yes! Like I said I'm not exactly sure what happened. One minute I was on the road and the next I was in the ditch.
You might want to get that narcolepsy checked out...I heard it can be dangerous when paired with driving.
Umm, not funny! Thanks for your concern though.

No, that's okay. I'm over this bs! I didn't expect this kind of reaction out of everyone. I usually don't take things this seriously, but something bad could've happened and people just want to joke! I thought everyone would be a little more sympathetic. Oh well, I guess I learned a lesson.
Thank you to those of you who showed cocern and to those of you who didn't, well.........
