Cut the junk food (i.e. fast food, restaurants, pop or any other procesed food), stay with the basics, work out (light wieghts) intensively up to 1 hr every day (on doctor's advice of course). If you need to, start out 20 min per day working your way up.
Make your own lunches. Try buy organic meats as the junk in most shops is loaded with growth hormones and antibiotics. Drink lots of water.
Bottom line, keep it simple, within reason and AVOID processed or any other restaurant foods / drinks. Walk when you can. OH..and very little refined sugar.
