had the blinkers going on 4 way flash for maybe 5 or 10 minutes --- noticed later that day or maybe the next day that the fast double click of the solenoid or perhaps i should be calling it a relay.
so - all turn signal lights work . the 4 way flashers work. the things sounds normal when either of these are activated
when none of the blinking lights are on, i hear the fast relay clicking continuously -
and have little reason to explain it except that something is not right in there !
its just a car to get from pt a to b
usually it does it nicely --AIM: chronon1

Blinkers that blink twice as fast usually mean that one of them is bad (either a bulb or connection). To find out which side is bad, first turn on the left side blinkers, then the right. The side that blinks twice as fast is the bad side. Once you figure out what side is bad, turn that side on and get out of the car to check if the front and back bulbs are working.

Just to confirm; with turn signal switch in off (ie center) position you are hearing the flasher module click at double speed? If so switch is faulty.
Some members have repaired switch (presumably dirty contacts), obtained replacement from wrecker or bought new.

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was going to post today about that. I even thought about a title:
My signals are TURBOed
My right signal is clicking very FAST.
I just have one question GeoPappas:
what if go outside and BOTH bulbs are working ???

What a coincidence this post about fast blinkers, it just happened to me yesterday and I was about to post a new thread about it.

Acutally, both bulbs COULD be working, but that does not mean one of them is not bad. Remove each blinking blub (one at a time) and replace with a good bulb, retest and when the blinking returns to normal you have found the culprit.

I went outside and tested.
You were right.
My right rear bulb went bad.
Here is a note for all with turboed signals:
Check your BULBS !!!!
