I've got about 3,000 miles on mine and quadruple checked the spline fit (after hearing of these problems) so I'm relatively confident mine is on there snug. I also get the full 8-10psi at full throttle, so I know I'm not slipping. Any trouble signs you saw would be helpful so I know what to look for.
no real tell tale signs, just started "howling" when I was driving down the road, so I pulled over and had it towed home
