Get a Paxton problem solved. You should be able use the rest of the vortec kit to mount it.

how do you know if the same spline count/dimension is used? Same mounting threads... same anything?

Vortech bought out Paxton a couple years ago. Even with that being said they is no assurance that a Novi style blower would even mount the same.

no real tell tale signs, just started "howling" when I was driving down the road, so I pulled over and had it towed home
