WHY??

1 - Not everyone has the extra $1800 to buy a turbo kit and it is a relatively new kit The vortech has been around for a few years so they have more sales

2 - Yes

3 - Cost and the fact the car is no longer produced, why spend R&D (regardless of quality) time on a car that had limited production and has very limited number of people willing to spend X amount of dollars on a kit this expensive.

Call ricers what you want, but import owners spend alot more money on their cars then CSVT owners. Alot more boosted imports running out there....how many Vortech kits are out there 15-20 max?? how many Zetec Turbo's are out there (contours - 0 / Focus - few, getting larger though)

How many SF turbo's were sold, I think they have 4. See the pattern....

Vortech's mistake was the shaft not being stable, I am willing to bet (and am currently doing so) a bearing at the end where the two shafts meet will reduce "wobble" which is killing the shafts. We are talking about a shaft 5/8" dia (IIRC) spinning 15K rpms with only one support over a two foot length. If it is not dead nuts center you are going to kill shafts left and right.
