I've owned the P7000 SS and yes they are NOISY! Also, the sidewall on this tire is very soft. I put three "bulges" the size of golfballs in only three months of use w/o hitting any major potholes. Personally, I think there are a lot better tires out there for the money. If you're looking for a performance all-season, look into the Sumitumo HTR+ (IIRC). It has received rave reviews on Tire rack and also by members of the CEG (APT is the first name that comes to mind. Plus, the Sumitumos are cheaper!
