I just got a set of 215/45/17 Yokohama AVS ES100's as well and really like them. They are much more quiet than the KDW's but a tiny bit louder than Bridgestone Potenza RE730 Gen. 2's. Turn in response seems better than these other tires as well, but I am guessing that is mostly due to the lower aspect ratio. They don't tend to track road grooves as much as the RE730's either (though the RE730's were 225's). I don't know how well they grip yet because I just got them and just haven't driven them too hard yet. Hope this helps some.
