Alright, I KNOW its been hashed over a few times in this forum (I should know, I read the posts not too long ago), but now I can't seem to find 'em with the search page, so here goes:

What make/model subwoofers will fit in the rear doors? I know its been done (again, I've seen the posts), I just can't recall how.

Thanks,
.RMk..

I would think that would create a big vibration/rattle/buzz issue.
Since subs produce sound that comes from all directions moungting in the trunk area would work just as well.
But that's just my two cents........
If they were to mount in the rear doors they'd have to be small ones..... ???

i think you would better off with a high end component system....cause you gotta have something with a shallow mounting depth....like an 8" free air sub wouldnt work i would think cause the magnet would hit the glass before you could screw it in.....there is always custom work to be done, but i wouldnt think it would be worth it.....

anyone else?

Mount the subs in the front footwells. Just cut the holes and fabricate an enclosure out of sheetmetal that can hang under the car. That's my plan
