OK I'm trying to get an idea, THIS HELPS, of what my new 3L Hybrid Package will do on my 99SVT. PA is your 3L a Hybrid and what type of work/mods have you done to it? Is the track you're racing on a good, mediocre or bad track?? I haven't really seen to many really outstanding times from a number of the 3L swaps done so far so I'm just a little confused/worried, that's all.

Considering that w/the 2.5 before I clocked a best time of 15.1 w/traps as high as 94 on a very bad track (very bad launch pad, strip is at an incline and into wind and is never maintained), one would think that w/your 3L setup your times would be higher, very respectable times and of course I'm sure you have other factors, like me, mods/weather/tuning/track condition that play in as well.
The 3L Hybrid
built by Rick Blackford known here as
Buckshot77, is basically a 3L short w/upgraded crank/rod bearings, fully inspected, 2.5 heads ported and polished, E/I 3&4 angle valve job, 24# injectors, stock SVT cams. I might end up selling the car so it's debateable if I'll extrude hone the UIM and swap out the lower for maybe SHO's setup and install a 65mm TB optimized. The car will be tuned using a Custom Programmed SuperChip and SAFC, other parts that will go on also are the DMD Damper, CTA intake pipe, 73mm CnL MAF (76mm later), large AFE Filter, Fidanza Flywheel, Spec Stage 3 Clutch & Quaife, MSDS Headers mated to Bassani Exhaust.
