Big Jim's advice and recollection are right on. I replaced in both cars within a week of each other, the Mystique being more time consuming because of the bezel. See below.

Following assumes tilt. To remove bezel (instrument panel finish panel) Ford manual says disconnect ground/remove panel/release clock clips/remove clock.

My experience. Gently pry out 3 retaining screw covers/remove screws including 3 above guages/wiggle panel-tilt steering to remove and clock mounts become visible.
