If forced induction is different because it's 'just more O2', then why the effort to introduce creative mathematics to describe a Wankel because it draws 'more O2'?

Last time I checked, a 50cc 2-cycle engine inducts more air and fuel than a 50cc Otto cycle engine. But they both displace 50cc. Just because their cycles differ (and thus, breathing characteristics) doesn't change the fact that they both displace the same physical swept volume. The same fact applies to the Wankel...though its cycle is markedly different from a piston engine's, the swept displacement is still determined by geometry, independent of any 'cycle'.

Yes, the Renesis may 'behave' or 'breath' like a larger engine, but it is not a larger engine.

Oh, and, BTW, thank you John.
