Hence, "drop-in". Gotcha. All the ones I've seen are the open kind. I checked the K&N site and got the part# of the one that'll fit in the SVT air box, and then checked an online dealer to get a idea on the price- about $65. Quite a bit of money, but worth it, I suppose, since I plan on having my car for a long time.
